Victoria Grandmothers for Africa is a group working together to raise funds and awareness for the Stephen Lewis Foundation and its Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign. This campaign supports African grandmothers who care for their AIDS-orphaned grandchildren.
In 2013, Victoria Grandmothers for Africa raised $102,194.00 for the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign and the Stephen Lewis Foundation. And since the group's inception in 2006, we have raised over $725,000.00.
Our work is accomplished through a variety of committees of interest. Members join a committee and engage in its work, meeting new people, learning new things and making friends.
For more information about our group, please feel free to contact us.
Our next important fundraiser is:
The 2015 African Dinner Saturday, April 25, 2015
The African Dinner is one of our most significant events of the year, offering a chance for fun, fellowship, superb African food, to be prepared again this year by Chef Castro Boateng, as well as some serious fundraising.
