Victoria Grandmothers for Africa is a group working together to raise funds and awareness for the Stephen Lewis Foundation and its Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign. This campaign supports African grandmothers who care for their AIDS-orphaned grandchildren.
In 2013, Victoria Grandmothers for Africa raised $102,194.00 for the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign and the Stephen Lewis Foundation. And since the group's inception in 2006, we have raised over $725,000.00.
Our work is accomplished through a variety of committees of interest. Members join a committee and engage in its work, meeting new people, learning new things and making friends.

Our next fundraiser is:
Stride to Turn the Tide – Saturday, June 7th
Victoria Grandmothers for Africa invite you to join us as we demonstrate our solidarity with the African grannies by participating in the Stride to Turn the Tide, a national initiative of the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmother to Grandmother’s campaign. Registration will start at 9:00 am and the Gettin’ Higher Choir will send walkers on their way from Centennial Square at 10:00 am. We hope to see many supporters there.
